The Leather Back is finally here.

The Leather Back Barnakl ™ is a thoughtful addition to the our current backer. After years of testing and trials we are happy to partner with skilled leather craftsman Ryan Catellier to bring you these heirloom grade leather backers to you. 

There has been a reality with IWB carry that has been hard to reconcile; you either prefer carrying kydex holsters or leather. For what may be the first time, you can now discover the optimal benefits of both. The slim form factor and superior retention of a full kydex holster and the unmistakable feel of quality cowhide against the body. Hybrid holsters fall short. Still lacking meaningful retention and often grossly oversized.

Our premium all American leather is veg-tanned and made from American steers. Die cut and hand stitched.

Like other leather holsters there is a use case that may be different from our traditional neoprene backer. A leather holster can slide and move with you. We  prefer less movement of the holster when carrying on your hips, but some movement when carrying appendix while bending/sitting. 

And this still does what the Barnakl™ does best. Eliminating hot spots and holster fatigue. It also features an array of heat reducing ventilation holes.
